ITF U14 World Tennis Competition – Bahrain

17–22 February 2025 | Isa Town, Bahrain

The 2025 ITF World Junior Teams pre-qualifying event was held in Isa Town, Bahrain, from 17 to 22 February 2025, with eighteen national teams participating.

Pacific Oceania was represented by Joelei Ioane and Alexandria “Ula” Amoa from American Samoa, and Alexandria Chand from Fiji, under the leadership of Team Captain Florence Wasko. The team competed in Group C alongside Turkmenistan and Bangladesh.

Matches began following the official opening ceremony on 17 February. Pacific Oceania started strongly with a 3–0 victory over Bangladesh. In the next tie against Turkmenistan, both singles matches were lost, but the doubles pairing of Ula and Alex secured a win in a deciding super tiebreak.

The team went on to play Guam, winning two of the three matches, including a decisive doubles victory, before facing Singapore and claiming another 2–1 result. Pacific Oceania concluded the tournament with a competitive tie against Kyrgyzstan to determine the final placings.

At the end of the event, Pacific Oceania finished eighth overall out of eighteen participating nations. The players displayed commendable effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the competition.
