128 Players from Australia, New Zealand and all over the Pacific\u00a0descended on\u00a0 Fiji to contest 309 matches in 29 events over 5 days in perfect Fijian weather on the 4 artificial and 6 natural grass courts at the Denerau Golf and Racquet Club in the 109th Fiji Tennis Open.<\/p>\n

Tarani Kamoe (FIJI) was crowned Ladies Open Champion for the 3rd time defeating Annie Shannon (FIJI) 64, 75 in a tightly contested final. She then teamed up with her sister Mulan to defeat Lysianne Nekiriai(CAL)\/Annie Shannon (FIJI) 75,75 in the Ladies Doubles Final.<\/p>\n

In the Men’s Open Singles, William Bruchard (CAL) defeated last year’s winner William O’Connell (FIJI) 63,26,63.\u00a0William Bruchard\u00a0also went on to claim the Men’s a singles title beating Alexandre Blasco, also from New Caledonia 64,64<\/p>\n

The Men’s Open Doubles was won by the Fijian pairing of Finau Fa\/William O’Connell who defeated Trey Murphy and Dan Young, both from Australia, 36, 63, 10-7<\/p>\n
