Annual General Meeting 10th May
The AGM will be held on Friday 10th May at noon at the TASA Centre. Matters to be discussed will be – Annual Report from the Secretary and the Treasurer’s Annual Report. All financial Tennis Clubs can send their representatives.
The rules for play at‘Atele courts
Cost is $3 a session for non-members of a club, and $1 for members, $150 a year fee to TTA allows free play all year; pay Lita at the courts, or Sione (the groundsman/caretaker)if she is not around.
Tonga Open during Heilala Festival-1st week of July
The Committee is making arrangements for the week long Tonga Tennis competition from the 1st to 6th July.
Competition will be in Singles and Doubles for Open Men, Open Women, and perhaps Senior Men (categories under 45 and over 45???)

Poseci’s Tennis Ladder – rules and current standings
This is a competition within the Nuku’alofa Racquets Club. The arrangement is that Doubles teams register (free for members of the club) and are given a ranking; they can choose to challenge any team up to 2 ahead of them in the ranking; the match of 3 tie break sets must be within one week of the challenge or forfeit; loser pays $15 to the club; and teams move up (and down) the rankings. The team that held the Number 1 spot for the most weeks in a year wins a $1,000 prize.Uniforms are to be worn and challenge games are given priority at the courts. Here is the current ladder –
